Tower Commons Proposed Near Denver’s Airport Corridor
Tower Commons Denver is a proposed 22,137-square-foot retail and medical development near Tower Road and East 57th Avenue in Northeast Denver. The concept includes multi-tenant retail space, a separate dental office, parking, pedestrian improvements, and new landscaping near the DIA corridor.
Office Park to 278 Apartments in Lowry
A pre-application proposal would convert a 1999-built office park at 7901 E Lowry Blvd into a 278-unit residential community, with Seattle- and Denver-based developer Schnitzer West reportedly under contract to acquire and redevelop the 8.15-acre site. The office-to-apartments Lowry concept calls for three-story walk-up buildings plus one five-story elevator building around a central pool deck, with a mixed-income unit strategy still being finalized. The project remains in Denver’s pre-application phase, with no rezoning or approvals granted yet.
A New 110-Unit Community Rising Next to Vanderbilt Park – 501 W Tennessee Avenue
A new concept plan for 501 W Tennessee Avenue proposes a 110-unit affordable housing community bordering Vanderbilt Park and the South Platte River corridor in Denver’s Athmar Park neighborhood. The four-story building would wrap around a central parking court with pedestrian links into the park’s trail network. The project is still in early concept review with the City of Denver and would likely use Low-Income Housing Tax Credits as it advances.
